Pluck — last updated 9 August 2026

Pluck is an 18+ dating-text practice game. Its personas are synthetic AI characters, not real people. Pluck provides practice and educational feedback, not therapy, crisis support, or guaranteed outcomes.

Your words

You write every message you send in a practice round. Do not submit another person’s private messages, identifying information, illegal content, threats, harassment, or content that violates someone else’s rights.

Optional SMS alpha

If you explicitly connect SMS, Pluck may send recurring practice messages to the number you verified. Message frequency varies with the rounds you start. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. Disconnect the channel in Pluck to remove the stored number. You can also email paul.chowb@gmail.com.

Accounts and deletion

An Apple account is optional. You can sign out, disconnect SMS, or delete your account and associated practice data from inside the app. See the Privacy Policy for what is processed and stored.

Service changes

The alpha may change, pause, or end. External providers may delay, block, or fail to deliver a message. In-app practice remains the default channel.
